Childhood
- Cristy was born on July 2, 1971 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to parents Susan and Rudy Magagna. Susan is a retired secretary from Sweetwater School District #1 and Rudy is a retired control operator that worked for Jim Bridger Power Plant.
- Cristy attended Washington Elementary School for Kindergarten, Rock Springs Catholic School for grades 1-6, Rock Springs Junior High for grades 7-9, and then graduated from Rock Springs High in 1989.
- Cristy participated in basketball, baseball, swimming, Girl Scouts and 4H.
Family
- Cristy has two younger siblings, Tony and Jenny. Tony is married and lives in Decator, Illinois where he is an English Professor. Jenny is a single mom to one son (Gavin, age 20) and lives in Rock Springs, Wyoming where she is a Human Resource Manager.
- Cristy is married to Dave Pelham and they live in Rawlins, Wyoming. She has three children Mikey (age 30), Cris (age 15) and Davey (age 8).
- Cristy has a cat named Scout and two dogs named Loki and Izzy.
Hobbies
- Cristy enjoys watching horror movies and NFL football. She enjoys playing fantasy football and collecting anything Denver Bronco. She participated in Kenpo Karate, ranking to yellow belt and was the over-50 Grand Champion for the Western Wyoming Tournament in 2021.
"Bucket List"
- Cristy wants to take a tour of the Denver Broncos stadium and see the locker room, meet the mascot, and so much more! She wants to visit all 50 states and has been to about 40 of them to date. She wants to attend an Avalanche NHL game. She also would like to visit Italy.
